Refund and Returns Policy


This Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made through Autocultive (the “Marketplace”). By placing an order on our platform, you (“Customer”) agree to the terms set forth below.

1. No Order Cancellations

  • Once an order is successfully placed and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled for any reason.

  • Customers are advised to review their order carefully before completing payment.

2. Return Eligibility

Returns will be accepted only under the following conditions:

  • The product received is damaged in transit, defective, or incorrect.

  • The return request is initiated within 3 (three) days of delivery.

  • The product is unused, uninstalled, and returned in its original condition with all packaging, manuals, and accessories intact.

Products will not be eligible for return if:

  • They show signs of installation, usage, or tampering.

  • They are electrical/electronic items, customized products, clearance/discounted items, or items marked “non-returnable”.

  • The customer ordered the wrong part or no longer needs the item (“change of mind”).

3. Return Process

  • Customers must initiate a return by clicking the “Request Refund” button on their order details page within 3 (three) days of delivery.

  • The request must include a brief description of the issue and clear photographic or video evidence showing damage, defect, or incorrect product.

  • Once the request is submitted, Autocultive will review it and notify the customer of approval or rejection within 48 hours.

  • If the return is approved:

    • The seller will be notified and is responsible for arranging a reverse pickup from the customer’s delivery address to their registered pickup address.

    • Customers will not be required to ship the product themselves for eligible returns.

    • The seller must initiate and complete the pickup within 5 (five) business days and update the order with reverse pickup tracking details or confirmation of collection.

  • After the product is received and inspected, a refund will be processed in accordance with Section 5 of this Policy.

3A. Evidence Requirement for Returns

To prevent misuse of the return system and to ensure fair dispute resolution, the following evidence rules apply:

Customer Evidence Requirements:
Customers must provide clear photo or video proof when submitting a return request. Evidence must show:

  • The delivered product,

  • The issue being claimed (damage, defect, wrong item), and

  • The package condition at the time of opening (unboxing video strongly recommended).

Return requests without valid evidence will be rejected.

Seller Evidence Requirements:
In the event of a dispute, sellers must provide packing proof such as:

  • Photos or videos taken before shipment,

  • Product condition proof, and

  • Any relevant packaging details.

If the seller fails to provide evidence when requested, the dispute will be settled in favor of the customer.

Autocultive reserves the right to make the final decision based on the available evidence provided by both parties.

4. Shipping Charges for Returns

  • If the return is approved due to damage, defect, or incorrect item, the seller will bear the shipping cost for return.

  • If the product is returned for any reason not covered under this Policy, the return request will be rejected

5. Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed only after the returned product passes quality inspection.

  • Refund timelines depend on the seller’s refund process. Autocultive only initiates the release after seller confirmation.

  • In case of Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be made via bank transfer or digital wallet.

6. No Exchanges

  • Autocultive does not offer product exchanges at this time. Customers may place a new order after receiving their refund.

7. Liability

  • Autocultive is not the seller of the products and is not responsible for product quality, shipping, or handling
  • Autocultive shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or costs arising from:

    • Incorrect product installation, misuse, or negligence by the customer.

    • Delays in courier services or unavoidable circumstances.

  • Our maximum liability is limited to the product price paid by the customer.

8. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Assam.
